TrustView TV Ltd. respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the TrustView TV service. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller under reference ZB847362 and operate under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK-GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are

2. Data we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver the service:
- Contact details — WhatsApp number and (optionally) email address you provide when subscribing
- Payment data — processed by our PCI-DSS Level 1 payment gateway; card details never touch our servers
- Account credentials — the Xtream Codes username and password we generate for your account
- Technical logs — server-side connection logs (IP, timestamp, stream requested) retained for 7 days for anti-abuse purposes only
We do not collect: your name (unless you volunteer it), your address (unless you order a physical Firestick), your browsing habits, your viewing history, or any biometric or health data.
3. How we use your data
- To activate and maintain your subscription
- To send you your credentials by WhatsApp
- To provide customer support when you contact us
- To meet UK legal obligations (VAT records for HMRC, DMCA responses)
- To prevent fraud and abuse of our infrastructure
We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever. This is written into our operational policy and audited quarterly.
4. Legal basis for processing
- Contract — we process your data to fulfil our service contract with you (UK-GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
- Legal obligation — VAT records under UK tax law, DMCA takedown responses (Art. 6(1)(c))
- Legitimate interest — server-side technical logs for security and anti-abuse (Art. 6(1)(f))
5. Data retention
- Account contact details: for the life of your subscription plus 6 years (HMRC record-keeping)
- Payment records: 6 years from date of transaction (UK VAT law)
- Technical connection logs: 7 days, then automatically deleted
- Support conversations: 12 months, then archived and eventually deleted
- Adult section viewing: no logs kept, ever
6. Your rights
Under UK-GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your data (subject access request)
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (right to be forgotten)
- Object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Complain to the ICO if you're not satisfied with our response

7. Security
Card payment: handled by a fully PCI-DSS Level 1 certified UK gateway — the highest tier of card security, audited annually by an independent QSA. Card details never touch our servers.
Credential delivery: WhatsApp (end-to-end encrypted).
Server infrastructure: encrypted at rest and in transit. TLS 1.3 for all data in flight.
